This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of titankennels.net (“the Site”) and applies to all registered users and visitors. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Responsible Use of the Pedigree Database
The pedigree database is a shared resource maintained by the community. Users must:
- Submit only accurate and truthful information to the best of their knowledge.
- Not intentionally falsify pedigree records, parentage, registration numbers, health data, or ownership information.
- Not alter or vandalize records submitted by other users without authorization.
- Not submit duplicate entries for dogs already in the database; instead, request edits to existing records.
- Use their own photographs or photographs they have explicit permission to use.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, post, or transmit any content that:
- Promotes, depicts, references, or facilitates dog fighting, animal cruelty, or animal neglect in any form.
- Contains threats, harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language directed at any individual or group.
- Is sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise offensive.
- Contains personal information of another individual without their consent (doxxing).
- Is defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent.
- Infringes on any intellectual property rights.
- Contains malware, phishing links, or malicious code.
- Is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation not authorized by Titan Kennels.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Scrape or harvest data: Use automated tools, bots, crawlers, or scripts to collect data from the Site without written permission.
- Bypass security: Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other security measures.
- Attack the Site: Launch denial-of-service attacks, exploit vulnerabilities, or attempt to compromise Site infrastructure.
- Create fake accounts: Register multiple accounts for deceptive purposes or to evade bans.
- Abuse the account system: Share login credentials, sell accounts, or use another user’s account without authorization.
- Interfere with others: Disrupt other users’ ability to use and enjoy the Site.
4. Rate Limiting and Automated Access
Automated access to the Site is prohibited without prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to API access, web scraping, data mining, and automated account creation. Legitimate search engine crawlers that respect our robots.txt file are permitted.
5. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it through our Contact page. Include the URL of the offending content and a description of the violation.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request to correct the behavior.
- Temporary suspension of account privileges.
- Permanent account termination.
- Removal of offending content.
- Reporting to law enforcement where applicable (particularly for animal cruelty or illegal activity).
- Legal action where warranted.
We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, at our sole discretion, to enforce this AUP.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
